The 2025 VLAM Awards nominations are being accepted now. If you know someone that has participated in a musical organization or public performances and has been an alumni of W.V., please consider nominating them. This can be simply done by sending an email to wvalumniband@gmail.com

Membership Dues Due
The 2025 WVAB membership drive is NOW underway. The dues are voluntary with a recommended price of $5.00. If you would rather pay a little extra, please feel free to do so. Dues are paid to the WVAB.
The first quarter of the year has been designated as the time to collect annual dues. Dues are a minimum of $5. Starting in 2025, there will be 4 levels of donating for those who wish to do so. Donors will be listed on the donation /dues page. Those levels are:
Musician ($5-19)
1st Chair ($20-49)
Leader ($50-99)
Assistant Director ($100+)
Your dues and donations will fund the following:
- WVAB Marching Band Award. Two scholarships each for $100 will be awarded to a senior instrumentalist and a senior band front member chosen by the High School band director.
- Danny Carl Memorial Percussionist Award for $100 to a senior percussionist chosen by the High School band director.
- John F. Potlunas Award to be presented to a senior who has exemplified outstanding service and dedication to the Williams Valley Music Department and chosen by the WVAB Board of Directors. This award will be $500.
- Any other supplies or fees that we as an organization may incur.
You may earmark your dues/donations to one of the scholarships above, or it will go into the General Fund to be used as the Board sees fit.
